It was a small crowd because there was very poorly anounced. However the people that did attend managed to cut off Constitution Ave, 3rd St and Pennsylvania Ave. Once we cut off Penn we set up tents and ordered pizzas. It was really intense although it was not as strong as it should have been. If we're going to organize these protests we have to organize them with more time to make sure that everyone will come and that we can all work together. It's so great to see so many people walking together, singing together, and ultimately working together. Thanks to everyone who got arrested to get a point accross, you guys are the reason the protest made the paper. I read the article in the Post about the protest, alhtough it seemed to be more of an article about the counter-protest since that's where most of the emphasis of the article was placed. Still, the atmosphere was incredible. We met people that drove all the way from Ohio just to come to the protest, and to think that some people within the city didn't come.
